Eye of Ra

The Eye of Horus is an ancient Egyptian symbol representing protection, healing, and restoration. It originates from the myth where the falcon-headed god Horus battled his uncle Seth, who gouged out Horus’s eye. The god of wisdom, Thoth, miraculously healed the eye, which was then known as the “Wedjat” or “whole/healthy” eye. This myth gave the symbol its power to ward off evil, protect the living, and guard the dead in the afterlife.
